Thanks Por Fin, I definatley wouldnt miss a hole like that in my cabin floor. Does this drain into your bilge area? I looked into my bilge area and noticed a drain pipe on each side of my hull and now I'm wondering if anything actually drains from them. I guess I should check with the factory about this once again.

    What year is your boat?

I have two holes that I assumed were drains in behind rear passenger seats. I've never had water in front of boat and haven't tested or checked it out. They are in the wall, not the floor. Indefiance.

Hmmmm....sounds like we all have different variations of design when it came to the cabin drains, at least both of you have them.

Let me ask you this, my tank vents are routed through my cabin and empty out the side of my boat, I find it rather strange that they would design it that way. When I fill up I almost always get a little gas coming out of the vents and almost always have a strong gas smell inside my cabin afterword, mainly within the storage boxs that my rear seats are bolted too. I'm getting ready to install a boat heater that will run off of diesel, and the only location I can install them on is behind the rear seats on the actuall box; I'm a little worried about this with vent hoses being this close. Where are your tank vents routed and located at? I've got a list of questions I'm putting together that I want to ask a factory rep about.

My tank vent is not routed through my cabin. It's routed out the starboard gunnel.

Howdeee, AG, My fuel tanks vent through cabin to outside, also I have battery fume vents to outside. Maybe gas fumes are coming in through that vent if you have the same.???

Hey Thanks Indefiance for the pic...that part of my cabin is carpeted and I crossed my fingers that maybe it was hiding behind it......NADA...I guess they must have forgotten to put a couple of drain holes in my boat....I'd hate to drill em myself and find out it doesnt drain into my bilge area. Sounds like we have the same vent designs. I have two in each rear base, one for my tank and the other for the battery.

Por Fin...so your tank vent hoses must come out of the deck floor and out the side of your boat, huh?

Looks like I'll be taking out my bait/dry boxes on my fishing deck and recaulking everything nice and good, hopefully that'll keep the water out. I need some warm weather now...

I'll be putting in a crab/shrimp pot puller/davit and boat heater in the next month...I'll be sure to post pic's once its setup

    Thanks Again....
