    Transom Issues

    Does anyone have any problems with transom coming loose or falling off the 195 tide runners extended I want to know if this is a true phenomenon. Thanks!!

    That does not sound very good. Have you contacted the factory?

    There have never been any Defiance Boats with a Transom coming loose or falling off. It is not a "true Phenomenon".

    I owned a 2006 Defiance 200 which is essentially the same thing as a 195 but had a pilot house.

    It had the extended transom with a 140 suzuki 4 stroke and a yamaha t8 kicker.

    I put that thing through some very tough water and had no issues with mine. It was traded in in 2010, so that was after 4 years of solid ocean and puget sound use.
